Places

A look at some places where the people in the Beaumont - Bousfield family tree lived and worked from my collection of vintage postcards.

The Bousfield line originates from Orton near Kendal and subsequently moved to Kendal. In the early 1800s, the Beaumonts were in the Watford and Rickmansworth area.  In about 1875, Charles Beaumont moved his family to Greenock, Scotland. The Longman line of blacksmiths are located in and around the Easington area of East Yorkshire, close to Hull.
